The Avinger Chamber of commerce hosted its annual Christmas dinner in December, sharing homemade treats and camaraderie in downtown Avinger. About 60 people attended the annual event.

The small town of Avinger flew high and proud November 18, when community members turned out in force to support the annual chamber fundraiser, Turkey Bingo!

The event raised $1,262 for the Avinger Area Chamber of Commerce, to be used to support community events and scholarships.

On Sept. 30, the Avinger Chamber of Commerce was proud to present the Avinger Volunteer Fire Department with a check for nearly $800! The monies represented earlier fundraising efforts, including Bingo night at the fire station.
